Adoniiah took photography seriously when he attended school at the International Center for photography to study the technical aspects of photography such as composition, camera operations, and developing film. He also studied at the Stuyvesant adult program. His formal education includes finishing high school and 2 years of College at the Borough of Manhattan Community College majoring in Corporate Cable Communication.

Adoniiah currently manages his families business “Sundial Herbal Products International” where he uses his photo skills to shoot pictures for the company’s print ads e.g. brochures, flyers, labels, magazine articles, etc.

"I see photography from an informational, educational, and historical point of view, to get across to the masses". With that Adoniiah has started his own photo business Sunrays Photo Productions which has published their own photo art including a line of postcards, posters, and calendars, all original & one of a kind. His work has been displayed in many exhibitions and festivals from the AC-BAW center in Mt.Vernon, N.Y. to the west side arts coalition in New York City. "This allows me to express myself through my work" he says.

Currently he has his own gallery, workshop & studio in the Bronx."My main point of interest is outdoor nature photography landscapes, exotic flowers, plants & different cultural experiences". His extensive travels to Brazil, Mexico, California, Jamaica and the Caribbean Islands has allowed him to shoot and share these experiences with people.

Adoniiah continues shooting anything that is appealing to his eye be it the simplest to the more complex. His portfolio speaks for him and is a reflection of Adoniiah the person.
